Today, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Bangladesh, Syed Ahmed Maroof, called on the Adviser on Health, H.E. Ms. Nurjahan Begum, to discuss the potential for enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the field of health. The meeting, held in Dhaka, focused on strengthening ties in various areas, including public health, medical research, and healthcare infrastructure.
During the discussions, both officials highlighted the importance of mutual collaboration to address health challenges and promote the exchange of knowledge and resources between Pakistan and Bangladesh. They also explored ways to improve healthcare systems, with an emphasis on improving healthcare access and addressing common health issues.
High Commissioner Maroof expressed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting Bangladesh’s efforts in the health sector and offered to share expertise and best practices in medical care, particularly in areas of mutual interest such as disease prevention and health education.
Adviser Nurjahan Begum welcomed the initiative and emphasized the need for continuous dialogue and cooperation to ensure the well-being of both nations’ populations.
