The Embassy Journal :On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, Bangladesh’s Foreign Secretary, Mr. Masud Bin Momen, met with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Bangladesh, His Excellency Mr. Seraya Ali Al-Qahtani, at the Foreign Ministry in Dhaka.
The meeting focused on reviewing the ongoing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Qatar, with both sides discussing avenues to enhance cooperation in various sectors, including trade, labor, and cultural exchanges. The diplomats also explored opportunities for further strengthening ties between the two countries, building on their longstanding partnership.
Mr. Momen and Ambassador Al-Qahtani expressed mutual interest in advancing bilateral collaboration and fostering closer diplomatic, economic, and people-to-people connections. The meeting underscored the importance of continued dialogue and joint efforts to strengthen the bonds between Bangladesh and Qatar.
